SKYNET WORLDWIDE
THE SKY COURIER INTERNATIONAL NETWORK
Formed in London in 1972 under the trading name of "Simonds Warner" it rapidly expanded its operations to the rest of Europe. In 1976 began its activities in Latin America as "Choice Air Courier" thus becoming the first courier network in that part of the world.
The merging of these two organizations in 1984 gaveway to the SKY COURIER NETWORK and subsquently to operating trade name of SKY COURIER INTERNATIONAL/SKYNET.
LOCAL OPERATIONS AND MANAGEMENT
SKYNET is the only international group of Courier Companies made
up of independently owned private entities operating under the
name of SKYNET WORLDWIDE EXPRESS. Altogether these
independent couriers represent the largest global alliance with over
1000 offices in over 100 countries.
The HUBS (Processing Centers ) installed in Miami, Los Angeles,
London, Brussels, Dubai, Singapore and Sidney guarantee the highest
standards of service quality provided by the various SKYNET Members in
those regions.
MANAGEMENT STABILITY / SERVICE RELIABILITY
In an area where "Courier" Companies are frequently changing their
local agents or managing staff, over 80% of the SKYNET offices are still run
by the same people who set up the NET in such places.
Unlike the largest Integrators all over the world each SKYNET station is
locally owned and managed.
Thus, continuity, on-site experience, flexibility are the basis for the best
possible level of service quality.
The SKYNET WORLDWIDE EXPRESS is in Portugal since 1989 and is a
full member of the SKY COURIER NETWORK.
